What the Programme Looks Like
This video outlines exactly what the how and why the programme works, how the support is structured, and what you can expect throughout the programme.
The Transformational Recovery Method™
The Transformational Recovery Method™ is a five-month coaching programme designed for people who have lived with an eating disorder for years or decades and who want a structured, compassionate, evidence-informed path to full recovery.
Across five months, you receive over 40 touchpoints of support — combining 1:1 coaching, group connection, practical tools, meal support, writing exercises, and a structured recovery plan.
Everything is designed to help you move out of the disorder’s patterns and into a life that feels joyful and free.
Ten 1:1 Sessions
(A 90-minute initial call + bi-weekly 60-minute sessions)
- Personalised, expert guidance that meets you exactly where you are — helping you understand what truly matters right now, rather than trying to fix everything at once.
- From the first session, we identify where you are in the recovery process — physically, mentally, and emotionally — and map out a clear plan of what to focus on, including coping strategies tailored to your needs.
- These sessions bridge the gap between knowing what recovery requires and actually being able to do it.
- They provide a space to untangle confusion and make sense of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours with someone who genuinely understands eating disorder recovery.
- With consistent accountability and reflection, you stay anchored and create momentum — even when things feel messy or uncertain.
Message Support Between Sessions
-
The work you do between calls is often where the biggest shifts happen, and our ongoing support helps you turn session insights into real-life action.
-
We want to hear from you — your wins, your challenges, and the places you’re getting stuck — so we can support you through them in real time rather than waiting until the next session.
-
You’ll always have someone beside you, just a message away, helping you take the next step, problem-solve, or simply receive compassion and validation when you need it most.
Practical Tools & Writing Exercises
-
You’ll learn actionable techniques to manage anxiety, urges, guilt, and body discomfort in the moment. These tools help you stay grounded in your body rather than escaping into old behaviours.
-
Our writing prompts deepen awareness and help you meet your emotions with curiosity instead of self-criticism.
-
These tools support you in building emotional regulation and inner resilience while staying compassionate and connected to yourself.
-
Structured exercises turn insights from the calls into tangible daily actions. The repetition helps rewire long-standing patterns so recovery begins to feel more natural and possible.
Group Coaching Calls
(90 minutes, three calls per month)
- Living with an eating disorder can feel incredibly isolating, and most people in your life simply don’t understand what you’re going through — either with the disorder or with recovery. These calls offer a space where people do understand.
- It’s a welcoming, diverse group of people at different stages and ages — from early 20s through to 60s — all pursuing full recovery after years or decades of struggle.
- You’ll learn from others’ experiences and insights, including those further along who can show you what’s possible. Their perspectives can spark breakthroughs in understanding your own patterns, progress, and next steps.
Group Meal Support Calls
(30 minutes, three times per month)
- A practical, supportive space to practise mealtime skills in real time.
- In this “virtual café” environment, we eat together and chat casually — not about recovery, but about life.
- It helps normalise eating in company, rebuild confidence around shared meals, and offers gentle, supported exposure to mealtime anxiety in a safe, low-pressure space.
- These calls create moments of warmth, connection, and ease with food — turning a feared experience into an opportunity for support, laughter, and joy.
Full Access to The Fundamentals of Full Recovery
(A six-module core programme)
- A structured, evidence-informed course that teaches the core principles of lasting recovery. It blends science, psychology, and compassion to help you understand what’s happening in your body and mind.
- It teaches you how to develop physical, emotional, and psychological resilience, while rebuilding a life beyond the eating disorder.
- You can go at your own pace and revisit modules anytime — the material grows with you as you move forward.
- It provides clarity, grounding, and reassurance whenever you need to re-anchor in the “why” of recovery.
- Most importantly, it’s practical — guiding you into real action rather than just absorbing information.
Private Community Board
-
A deeply supportive space where people respond with care, depth, and genuine understanding.
-
Ask questions, share experiences, or celebrate wins — and read others’ reflections to feel validated and less alone.
-
Receive encouragement when motivation dips and empathy when you’re having a hard day.
-
This daily connection helps you stay engaged in recovery between sessions, not just during them.
